Online Courses

 

Eira High School offers a number of Finnish National Curriculum courses online. These course can be completed by distance learning, with an assessment at the end of each course either taking the form of a final task which can also be completed  at home or a test at Eira High School (Laivurinkatu 3).

During the year we offer online courses in Art, Civics, Chemistry, English Writing, Ethics, Geography, Health Studies, History and Mathematics.

In order to study online you need:

• To be a registered student at the school
• To have a Wilma and OPIT Password

Courses are run through the OPIT learning environment.  Materials are presented in the relevant OPIT study programme and project space, and in some cases through a dedicated course website.

New students are recommended to take the Study Skills course in Period 1 before taking an online course.

In order to complete an online course at Eira High School you need:To be registered at the School.
