Enrolment for the Semester

There is a fee of €10 for the first year of studies and enrolment is in the office. In subsequent years re-enrolment is annual and free. It can be done electronically using Wilma or personally in the office.

Anyone who does not re-enrol at the beginning of a semester is considered to have resigned and needs to pay the €10 fee to re-enrol.

Course Enrolment

Enrolment on courses taught in English is through Wilma. Along with courses taught in Finnish, courses taught in English are set out on a 'lukio course tray', (kurssitarjotin). These latter courses have the prefix H (for High School in English) and are published on a green background: for example H HI1 is the first history course. Codes for courses taught in Finnish are on a blue background.

Enrolment on Finnish Courses (s2) - beginner, intermediate and lower secondary school courses are via Wilma, but via a separate link to the lower secondary school - peruskoulu. Enrolment for the lukio Finnish courses (S2) is via the upper secondary list of courses.

When all the compulsory courses in a subject are studied in English this is noted on your päättötodistus/school leaving certificate.
